I’ve been meaning to post my thoughts on the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Spring 2016 Collection for weeks but my current schedule and daylight literally killed all hopes of getting any decent pictures . . . and it doesn’t really help that I’m a slow swatcher anyway.

I know you have probably seen a few reviews and swatches for this Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Spring 2016 Collection now – serves me right for being so late – but I still wanted to get my thoughts out there as this is the first season I can remember that I have not been THAT impressed with the colour choices.

Barry M Cream Soda Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish

Barry M Butterscotch Sundae Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish

Barry M Acai Smoothie Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish

Barry M Pink Lemonade Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish

I understand that every loves a good nude or off white nail colour – honestly I do – but the majority of these shades look like they have been done before. I actually poured though my archive of Barry M swatches and I’m a bit disappointed to say that every colour (except maybe Acai Smoothie) has been done before by Barry M.

Each Gelly polish in the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Spring 2016 Collection costs £3.99 (thought you can get a bundle deal from Superdrug) and are available to purchase from Superdrug or Boots.
