So today’s post is going to be about the Kat Von D Hawkwind Everlasting Liquid Lipstick as I realized I named dropped it in my post on Sunday but I actually don’t have a review live for this lipstick – hindsight on my part – so if you were interested on my thought on this lipstick . . . you wouldn’t actually be able to find it.
I actually love Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range and if you ever came to me seeking a recommendation for a longlasting, comfortable liquid lipstick that doesn’t flake then I would recommend a shade from this range if it is within your budget. Unfortunately the brown shades within this range are quite limited – my heart weeps – but the Kat Von D Hawkwind is just brown girl nude lipstick magic well as long as you like pink-toned brown lipsticks as that’s probably 3/4ths of my nude lipstick collection – what can I say? I like what I like!
The Kat Von D Hawkwind Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – £17 via Debenhams – is a brown liquid lipstick with red undertones that has been infused with vitamins A, C, and E for added hydration and formulated with a ‘next-generation formula’ that aims to give lips long-lasting wear and high-pigment color with a smooth matte finish.
I don’t really think I have much to add to the original description of this lipstick as it does pretty much what it says on the can. The Kat Von D Hawkwind is extremely pigmented with an opaque formula that dries to an even finish that does not transfer, is long-lasting and tea-proof!
The Kat Von D Hawkwind lipstick goes with a long-stem doe foot applicator that pretty much acts like any bog-standard applicator – so don’t expect anything revolutionary there – I’m happy with the way the applicator picks up and applies products plus it is quite easy to use (even on a moving bus) and I get about 6 hours’ worth of wear from this without my lips feeling like sun-dried cardboard.
I’m fiscally fasting until the endof the year as I don’t know how to keep to a budget BUT if I manage to trick someone into going makeup shopping for me, I’m probably going get a few more shades from the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range so I can do a full on dark skin swatch post and maybe repurchase this shade and Crucifix as they are so gosh-darn good!!
The Kat Von D Hawkwind Everlasting Liquid Lipstick costs £17.00 and is available to purchase from Debenhams.
