With shimmer/metallic shades like Bobbi Brown Dusty Mauve Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick, you do get about 7 to 8 hours worth of wear but I find that the shimmer sparkles can transfer during the course of the day which would be a pain for anyone with hooded eyelids.
