Before anyone sends me a DM or an email telling me that I could probably make the Fenty Beauty S1ngle Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick “usable” if I paired it with a lipliner or layered it on top of a darker lipstick . . . I am aware of this.

I’m trying to give you a raw, un-manipulated, organic, relatively unedited view of what this lipstick looks like right out of the bullet.

Although this lipstick is not my kind of nude, I actually like the opaque, creamy texture of this lipstick. It’s coral brown shade and warm undertones allows this lipstick to be manipulated; layered or toned down, for a unique look that suits the wearer.

My biggest bug-a-boo about the Fenty Beauty S1ngle lipstick – which I have mentioned in previous reviews – is that the slimline bullet in this lipstick is prone to snapping when under pressure. You also get considerably less product than other lipsticks at a similar price-point e.g. MAC, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury etc., so if getting as much product for your buck is your priority, I would advise looking at a dupe shade.
