There is just something about the shape of the DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum Perfume bottles that I find so enticing. I’m not going to be cliché and say it is because apples are the forbidden fruit – because growing up, I was led to believe that pomegranates were what drove Eve to her doom – but sitting here in my urban garden, I do think that DKNY has managed to create a gorgeous and compelling aesthetic that is iconic.

This season, DKNY have decided to shake things up a bit by adding permanent addition to the DKNY Be Delicious range rather than a trio of limited edition scents and to be honest I’m not complaining as the DKNY Be Desired Perfume is so much more intense and stronger than its predecessors.

Formulated with orange oil, blackcurrant and iced grapefruit in its top notes and a heart of Jasmine, amber wood, acacia flower and Turkish rose, the new DKNY Be Desired Perfume is just so fruity and refreshing but I am a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have an apple in it (I thought that was kind of the point of the DKNY Be Delicious Perfume range).

I definitely don’t think this is a Winter scent – thank god as I hate the smell of cinnamon – but it will make a great scent in the run up to spring or when you need a fruity little pick up to break up the wintery days.

The DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum Perfume comes in 50ml and 100ml bottles and is available to purchase from LookFantastic, Escentual and John Lewis
