I don’t care how ‘fan-girl’ this review may seem but I am heads over in love with the new Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau Du Parfum Perfume. I love its sultry, sophisticated scent. I love its python-like bottle and I love the fact that I want to wear it as a handbag (don’t judge me!!)

The Marc Jacobs Decadence Perfume – via Selfridges – comes in an emerald bottle with a pressed faux-snakeskin lid and tasselled gold chain. I know the bottle might seem a bit over the top to some but when you consider that the Decadence perfume has been created to resemble one of Marc Jacob’s signature handbags it kind of all comes together in a way.

Now this isn’t the first time than a designer has done this – and it certainly won’t be the last – but what makes this fragrance really stand out is how WELL Marc Jacobs has managed to do this. The Decadence perfume from Marc Jacobs actually LOOKS like a bag that the average MJ lover would rush out to buy.

I do think this is scent is quite mature and might not be for everyone – especially if you happen to like light, airy fragrances – as it contains plum, iris and saffron top notes with a liquid amber and wood base

The Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau De Parfum Perfume comes in a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottle and can be purchased from Selfridges, Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis
