I am a sucker for lightly fragranced moisturisers, if I can find one that I don’t react to then I am tripping over my feet to secure as many as I can. Almost 2 weeks ago Superdrug’s very own skincare and cosmetics brand B. announced the launch of  it’s new moisturiser and balm hybrid that is just actually quite good. The B. Rescued Energising Balm (RRP £10.99) is designed to transform dull looking skin by using Persian silk tree extract to help reduce toxins, which can be seen in the skin as dark circles, puffiness and lacklustre skin tone. What’s so amazing about this balm is that it can also be used as foundation base! In fact I saw Cassie Lomas use it as an primer alternative and the model looked AMAZEBALLS!!!

Personally I feel that 30ml of product for £10.99 is a tad bit steep for a highstreet product especially when I can see myself finishing this balm in less than a month – because I really like it – but despite it’s price I believe that this cruelty-free balm will be a hit once the sun starts to warm up  . . . (again) as it hydrates skin without being over bearing. I feel that it dries to a light, non-greasy, almost matte finish within a few seconds so it won’t cause your foundation to slip or appear shiny.

I adore the Energising Balm as I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has oily skin and is looking for a highstreet moisturizer/balm. The B. Rescued Energising Balm is available this month online and in selected Superdrug stores.
