Would it surprise you to know that I’ve never used a white eyeliner before? I never really understood why I would reach for one as white eyeliners have a very striking contrast against my skin so I always opted for a nude eyeliner instead BUT I’ve woken up in an adventurous mood this morning so I dug out the brand new Barry M Bold White Waterproof Eyeliner – £3.99 via  Boots – and it’ s definitely something

The Barry M Waterproof Eyeliner formulations are quite good for their price point as they are very pigmented, they glide fairly easy and you get next to no wastage when you sharpen them but I think they fall a bit flat on the longevity meter. When I tested this eyeliner out, even though my initial swatch felt tattooed on – no amount of smudging could get this thing off – I found I only got about 2 – 3 hours of use before it started wearing off

I wear contact lenses which can really affect the longevity of eyeliner – if you’re a contact lens wearer and have ever had a watery eye day then you know what I mean – so you might want to take this review with a pinch of salt but I do think that if you are in the market for a noir white eyeliner without a crazy price point, the Barry M Bold White Waterproof Eyeliner might be just what you need as it is cheap and cheerful at only £3.99 but it wouldn’t be something I would recommend for darker skintones as a nude eyeliner as it is the wrong tone for your skin shade.
