Ever since I rearranged my lipstick collection and made my lipsticks easily accessible, I find myself reaching for shades like the Beauty Bakerie Sakura Delight Lip Whip rather than my usual creamy nude lipstick or vibrant matte red lipstick. I think I’m in that mood to pair my lipstick with my mood right now . . . Or I’ve realised I own a LOT of lipstick that needs aaato be used before they expire – and we all know how much I hate to waste money.

I actually bought a big batch of Beauty Bakerie products during the December sales in an effort to diversify the brands that I review on my website. After seeing videos on Instagram of people swatching the Beauty Bakerie Lip Whips on their arms then furiously scrubbing it, running it under the tap, sleeping with the swatches on – you get the idea  – and the swatches refusing to budge, I definitely had to try these lipstick out. Unfortunately it took me a little while to try them out as I’ve been ridiculously ill with the flu  & emotionally exhausted these last few weeks but I’m healthy and ready to catch up on everything I’ve missed.

The Beauty Bakerie Sakura Delight Lip Whip – £16.00 via Beauty Bay -is a fuchsia pink, matte liquid lipstick that has been formulated by Beauty Bakerie to give the lips a a full coverage, smudge-free finish on the lips. On my lips this lipstick is absolutely gorgeous. This raspberry lipstick applied very easily on my lips and the applicator allowed me to distribute product across my lips very easily.

While I do like this lipstick shade, I’m not in love with the way this lipstick looked on my lips. I think I’m going to give my lips a good scrub tonight and take another swatch picture over the weekend as I feel like the Beauty Bakerie Sakura Delight lipstick highlights ever single dry patch of skin on my lips – which really isn’t cute.

I feel like the Beauty Bakerie Sakura Delight Lip Whip is a great choice as long as your lips are in a great condition. If your lips are quite dry then I would not suggest opting for this lipstick as it’s long-wearing formulation will highlight your lip’s dryness and give your lips a cracked, uneven appearance.

The Beauty Bakerie Sakura Delight Lip Whip costs £16.00 and is available to purchase at ASOS, Beauty Bay and Feel Unique
