I love Bourjois’ lipstick and lipglosses but I haven’t really used that many products in their range as they don’t seem to cater very well to darker skintones which is a real shame as I love the scent and feel of their products. I remember how much I used to love a dark pink blush that they stocked almost 7 years ago – not even sure if they still stock it – so when I popped down to the Bourjois event last week, I was really interested to find out what I’ve been missing.Bourjois_delice_de_poudre_gold_Bronzing_powder_epiphanniea_review_packaging
In my amazing clutch goodie bag – definitely original – I was given the brand new Bourjois Delice De Poudre Gold Bronzing Powder (RRP £7.99) which is a gorgeous, bronze toned highlighter that can be used on cheekbones, brow bones and as an eyeshadow to bring a bronze glow to your face. I find that it’s quite easy to use, minimal product fallout and let’s face it, anything that leaves teeny, little specks of glitter on your cheeks rather than giant metallic flecks is a winner.

The Delice De Poudre Gold Bronzer looks like a little bar of chocolate and comes in a little cardboard box which looks sturdy enough but I can see this getting demolished by wear and tear – I’m really not a fan of cardboard packaging for this reason – The powder is quite finely milled and I believe would look amazing on anyone with medium to dark skin tones.

I really don’t think my swatch does this bronzer justice because my lighting has given it an odd green sheen which just isn’t there in reality. I do think this is a cute little bronzing powder and the fact that it smells like chocolate is a bonus, but I can’t help but wish that this was a tad bit more pigmented.
