Want to know my weakness?! It is eyeliners!! I can’t even begin to explain how many eyeliners I have in my collection at the moment . . . and how many I seem to have back-ups for, I feel that eye-liners are a need to have. I was recently given the Burberry Jet Black Kohl Eyeliner – £18.50 via Burberry – which is AMAZING as I can’t find my trusty Kevyn Aucoin eyeliner anywhere and my bambi eyes needed urgent definition.

The Burberry Kohl Eyeliner in Jet Black is described as a ‘colour-intense’ eyeliner with a ‘long-lasting waterproof formula that glides on with exceptional colour release and can be smudged out for a smokey eye look’. To be quite honest, I do prefer my kohl eyeliner to have a pencil tip rather than a retractable tip – I’m old school like that – but I do like the fact this Burberry eyeliner sets very quickly so there is less chance of it running everywhere as my eyes tend to start watering the minute I put anything near it though I wouldn’t use this to create a smokey eye look as it sets too quickly and I don’t want to apply my makeup as if I have two giant Duracell batteries attached to my back

I do wish that the eyeliner formula was a bit ‘blacker’ but I wouldn’t really mess with this luxury kohl eyeliner’s formula as I don’t want Burberry to start playing around with the formula and then the nib starts to break every time I use it.

At £18.50, I don’t think the Burberry Jet Black Kohl Eyeliner is the best luxury eyeliner I have ever used BUT if Burberry included it in a seasonal gift set, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
