Now I know that the shades in the EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation Range – £12.50 via HQ Hair – were created with Mediterranean, Olive, Middle/Far-Eastern and Asian complexions in mind and are not my skin shade – that’s quite obvious to be fair – but I recently got my sticky fingers on the EX1 Foundations in F300, F400 and in F500 to add to my #FindYourSwatch Gallery and as you can probably tell, I’m very excited about that because you don’t find many (if any) brands that cater exclusively for medium skintones.

EX1 cosmetics are a multi-award winning range of make-up founded by biochemist Farah Naz, who struggled to find make-up that perfectly suited skin tones like her own so she created her one dedicated to providing choice for those with yellow undertones or those who just love a tan.

I actually think it is quite interesting that everyone just assumes that if you are in the middle that you have it pretty easy when it comes to selecting cosmetics but I get the feeling that the beauty industry either provides for light skintones or dark skintones but never for anyone who might be slap bang in the middle which if you think about it is quite odd.

As I haven’t swatched these foundations on my models just yet, I do not really have an opinion about any of the EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation range but EX1 claims that their liquid foundation is 100% fragrance free making it suitable for anyone with sensitive skin and oil free so it should not clog up your clog pores.

There are 5 shades in the EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation range and all foundations cost £12.50 and are available to purchase from HQ Hair.
