If there is one thing Kat Von D does well, it is lipsticks and trust me when I say that the Kat Von D Plath Everlasting Liquid Lipstick is no exception to this rule. I was lucky enough to have bee given this lipstick at a Debenhams event recently – which I was estactic about as this lipstick has been on my wishlist for a while now so I didn’t have to buy it – but you guys already know that I have been actively growing my Kat Von D Makeup Swatch Collection for a while now so when I can get my hands on something from this brand, it is a very happy day in my word
. . . however now that I think about it . . .
I find it so weird that I rant and rave about the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range but I haven’t really tried anything else from her cosmetics line – which knowing my obsession with cosmetics, is VERY odd – I don’t know if my experience with the KVD Contour palette soured me towards her other products but I just haven’t stepped outside my comfort zone . . . might to make it a goal in 2018 to do this.
Anyway before I waffle on any longer, let’s get on to this review.
If you like nude liquid lipsticks then the Kat Von D Plath Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – £17.00 via Debenhams – is a great, dark skin friendly, neutral lipstick that you should add to your collection. This “chocolate cherry-red” lipstick was originally a limited edition offering but was added to the permanent KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range late 2016/early 2017. The Kat Von D Plath Everlasting Liquid has a very creamy, moisturising formula that is very easy to apply and doesn’t suck all the moisture from your lips – which is very important when the weather starts to get colder – Packed with vitamin E and Sunflower seed wax, the Kat Von D Plath lipstick comes with a standard doe-foot applicator and a slim pencil like packaging
On my lips, I think you can definitely see the warm, red tones for the Kat Von D Plath lipstick coming through but I’m a bit reluctant to relegate this lipstick into the burgundy family as I feel like the brown tones are quite prominent. I love the formulation for this lipstick and think that it is one of the more comfortable matte lipsticks I have worn with a 6-7 hour wear time.
The Kat Von D Plath Everlasting Liquid Lipstick costs £17.00 and is available to purchase from Debenhams.
