The Bourjois Trop Brunché! Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick is a dusty pink lipstick with strong brown undertones and a soft-matte finish. The lipstick has a weak weartime around the 3-4 hour mark and can accentuate the appearance of imperfections on the lips.

Although I own many lipsticks very similar in colour to the Bourjois Trop Brunché! Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick, I found that the pigmentation and texture of this lipstick looked very unflattering against my lips.
I feel that this lipstick looked very patchy, settled into the lines of my lips and that the pigment in the lipstick itself was not strong enough to ‘hide’ or ‘cover’ my natural lip colour. Personally I am not a fan as I found that I had to apply multiple coats before I achieved a finish that I was happy to photograph but – as you can see from my swatch – my lips looked dry and patchy
The Bourjois Trop Brunché! Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick costs £8.49 and lasted about 4 hours on the lips.
Who knew that a long-lasting matte lip colour could be this light and ever-so-comfortable?
Rouge Edition Velvet from Bourjois glides on soft as a whisper. Once dry, the richly pigmented colour won’t budge! The velvety texture melts on lips with a bare lip feeling. Forget you are wearing lip colour! When you want intense, matte colour that won’t dry out your lips, Rouge Edition Velvet delivers the look you love in a long-lasting liquid lipstick.
The soft flocked applicator deposits just the right amount of colour with precision. For an extra-intense effect, add a second coat after the first one dries.
Tuck it into your make-up bag for those times when you want to step up your glamour game!
