I’ve not even had my first cup of tea yet but I really wanted to be one of the first people to blog about the bright, summery new offerings from L’Oreal that I’ve rolled out of bed – relatively early –  and gone straight to my laptop. Don’t worry I fully intend to drink a pint of breakfast tea to makeup for the hour of lost sleep.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek at the newest “rugged, but glam” nail polishes on the block. L’Oreal Paris Miss Denim Color Riche is a summer ready collection consisting of 4 color riche nail polishes in hot pink, tropical coral and denim toned blues. I’m wearing L’Oreal Paris Jean & Tonic 865 Color Riche Nailpolish (RRP £4.99) which is a gorgeous summery coral colour than really compliments my skin tone.

As one of the first textured nail shades to be launched by L’Oreal under the L’Oreal Paris range, Jean & Tonic is a sweet, coral nail lacquer that is extremely fast drying, dries leaving a rough, sand-like texture very similar to denim and is designed not to need a top coat layer. I found that Jean & Tonic seemed to get duller as the day went on which I really didn’t like as it made my nails appear a bit gritty.

L’Oreal Paris Jean & Tonic 865 & the other three Color Riche Miss Denim Nailpolishes will be available nationwide from May 2014
