For once I am actually in the right target age market for a skincare product, but I really have to ask  . . . why is it so pink??? The Skin Perfection range is the newest skincare offering from L’Oreal Paris and is targeted at Homosapiens in their 20s-30s.

Apparently in your 20’s and 30’s, your skin is still young – Thank God – but can still be imperfect and suffer from irregularities (breakouts, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture) due to stress, fatigue and an unbalanced lifestyle and right here is where the L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Advanced Serum would kick in. Enriched with Perline-P and patented LR 2412, this serum is designed to penetrate the skin and help to transform the skins appearance by diminishing the appearance of pores, “tone looks more even and skin texture feels silky-soft”.

This serum would normally be the type of product I would normally be ecstatic to review but I seem to be highly allergic to an ingredient in the serum. After watching this serum on my arm for this picture and rubbing it in – do you know this serum get a duochrome finish when you rub it in? – my arm started to experience a burning sensation that didn’t stop until I had washed it off.

Despite the fact that my skin does not like this, this really should dissuade you for trying it for yourself as my skin can be temperamental and L’Oreal Paris Advanced Serum uses exactly the same ingredient as the Lancome Visionnaire Serum, so you are getting luxury skincare at a budget. You can buy this serum for RRP £19.99 from Boots or Superdrug
