The Body Shop Smoked Poppy Collection is a 7 product, limited edition range that contains extracts from hand harvested Turkish poppies. As I’ve never smelled poppies before – Is that weird? – I really had no clue what the Smoked Poppy Collection would smell like AND if I would like it but the rich, sensual scent of this range has turned me into an addict. . . . no seriously, I keep sniffing my arm – it’s weird!!!

I’m normally partial to just using a gentle shea butter body scrub in the mornings – need some way to scrub the sleep and cold out of my system – so swapping my ol’ faithful with the Smoky Poppy Poppy Seed Scrub –  £13 via The Body Shop – was actually very easy as I SWEAR by the Body Shop scrubs.

I don’t advise using a body scrub EVERYDAY as you might do a little more damage to your skin that you planned for but I have to admit that I have used the Poppy Seed Scrub almost every day for the last 4 days as it smells so good and I only every exfoliate my body every two months so I was due for some heavy duty scrubbing.

After all that scrubbing I plaster on the Smoky Poppy Body Butter – £5 for 50ml, £13 for 200ml – to really seal in the Smoky poppy scent on my body – mmmmmmhhhhh poppies!!!! – then rush off to work

I have not really used The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Body Lotion – £8 for 250ml – as much as I would like as I’ve been using the Smoky Poppy Body Butter almost every day but I will be taking this handy pump lotion to work so I can use it as a hand cream (waste not, want not!)

The Body Shop Smoked Poppy is live onsite NOW and The Body Shop have an ‘Up to £25 off promotion’ til Tuesday 10th February 2015 – yes I’m enabling – If you succumb to the urge and buy something from this range, let me know what you think  and if you love the packaging as much as I do.
